Plant Pots
ReCollecting Plant Pots
Recycling plant pots gives them a second life, helping to reduce the billions of pounds of plastic waste generated annually while promoting sustainable gardening practices. By keeping these materials in use, you conserve raw resources, reduce harmful emissions from manufacturing new products, and prevent non-biodegradable waste from polluting landfills. It’s a simple step that creates a healthier environment for your garden and the planet!
During designated collection months, plant pots should be placed next to your waterproof black bag!
Accepted Materials
What is included? All kinds of pots for plants, including plastic, ceramic, woven, wood, or metal. We will even take those cheap plastic ones you get from the garden center.
What is NOT included? Seed starter trays or cells. Anything that is not a single pot, such as a 4 or 6-pack of seed starter cells or plants.
To ensure we have enough space in the van and that our partners can handle the volume of pots, please keep the total to, at most, two stacks that are two feet high.
