ReCo Pick : Art/Office Supplies with Bonus Clear #1 Clamshells September 2024

What’s Included in the September ReCo Pick:

Office Supplies: Staplers, hole punchers, tape dispensers, paper clips, scissors, desk organizers like trays and pen holders, file folders, binders in various sizes, whiteboard markers, label makers and labels, calculators.

School Supplies: Notebooks, binders including dividers, pencil cases, folders, rulers and protractors, glue sticks, erasers, highlighters and markers, scissors for kids and regular, index cards, sticky notes, book covers, student planners.

Paper Products: Printer paper, construction paper, cardstock, legal pads, graph paper, envelopes, sticky notes, notepads, memo pads, poster boards, scrapbooking paper.

Writing Instruments: Pens including ballpoint, gel, fountain, pencils both mechanical and wooden, colored pencils, crayons, markers permanent, washable, dry-erase, highlighters, sharpies, chalk, chalkboard markers, paintbrushes, watercolor pencils.

Art Supplies: Acrylic, oil, watercolor paints, paint palettes, sketchbooks, drawing pads, craft scissors, decorative punches, beads, strings, glue guns, glue sticks, yarn, fabric, sewing kits, origami paper, stencils, stamps, art portfolios, printmaking tools, embroidery supplies.

Additional guidance: Please ensure all art and office supplies are in working condition. Please put small items such as beads in a bag to contain them. To help preserve the life of our ReCo Pick bags, please place any items with ink or that might bleed into a sealed ziplock bag or a tied-off plastic grocery bag (which we will recycle).

While ReCo offers clamshell service anytime for as low as $2 per bag, we want to ensure everyone has access. From time to time, we will include clamshells as a ReCo Pick. Place the clamshells in your own bag of a grocery size or smaller

What is included? Clear clamshells made of polyethylene terephthalate, abbreviated as PET or PETE – recycling symbol #1.

Please check every item for the symbol, color/flex, and sound:

• Symbol: has a recycle symbol #1
• Color/Flex: clear and smooth with a very slight flex
• Sound: distinct crinkly sound when squeezed

Preparation:

• Remove any food debris
• Materials should be clean and dry, but not necessarily spotless
• Stickers and labels are OK to keep on! These are washed off in the recycling process
• Place the clamshells in your own bag of a grocery size or smaller
