We’re introducing a more flexible rescheduling policy! For most of our service area, you can now request to reschedule your monthly hard-to-recycle pickup up to two times per year at no charge. This is a convenient option if you’re out of town or unable to prepare for your pickup for any reason.
Rescheduling is not available for members in Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Hillsborough, Carrboro, and South Chapel Hill. However, if you live in these areas and can’t make your scheduled pickup, you can delay it to the following month up to twice a year. This includes prior and current month ReCo Picks and an extra-capacity bag at no additional charge.
To request a reschedule and delay until next month, simply email help@therecollective.co at least two days before your scheduled pickup.
If ReCo comes to your location and your materials are not out, and you would like us to return, there is an $8 fee to help cover the cost of the second trip.
