Recycle Wine Corks

ReCollective recycles wine corks

The ReCollective Recycles Wine Corks

Each year, an estimated 13 billion wine corks are produced worldwide. Natural corks, harvested from the bark of cork oak trees, are biodegradable and can be repurposed into products such as flooring tiles, insulation, and fashionable accessories. Synthetic corks, typically made from plastic, can also be creatively reused. Many local artists and crafters transform both types of corks into unique, eco-friendly products and artwork.

During designated collection months, wine corks should be placed in your own bag, not the ReCo Pick bag!
