The ReCollective Partners with Note in the Pocket to Donate Gently Used Clothing
Note in the Pocket is dedicated to providing quality clothing to homeless and impoverished children and families with dignity and love. They have recently expanded with a new location in Durham, enhancing their ability to support thousands more families across the Triangle region. Note in the Pocket items should be put in your own bag, Not the ReCo Pick bag!
Accepted Materials
Items requested and guidelines:
- Gently used clothing (infant to adult sizes)
- Gently used shoes (infant to adult sizes)
- Place donations in a separate, sealed bag (not in your textile bag).
- Set the donation bag beside your black waterproof bag for pickup.
- The donation bag should be no larger than 45 gallons.
Note: The more worn items should go in your textile bag – Note in the Pocket donations are only for gently used items.
How does The ReCollective work with Note in the Pocket?
Your donations are brought back to our Durham, NC warehouse, where they are aggregated and then delivered to Note in the Pocket.
Note in the Pocket donation is collected through the ReCo Pick in addition to our other core hard-to-recycle materials that are collected each pickup.
