Recycle CDs & DVDs

The ReCollective Recycles CDs & DVDs
Got CDs or DVDs collecting dust? Instead of tossing them, donate them through The ReCollective! We work with local non-profit community organizations that resell gently used discs, giving them a second life and keeping them out of landfills. Whether it’s music, movies, or games, your old discs can help support reuse and reduce waste.
During designated collection months, CDs & DVDs should be placed in your own bag, not the ReCo Pick bag!
Accepted Materials
CDs and DVDs from the following categories:
- Music albums (all genres, including compilations and box sets)
- Movies & TV shows (feature films, documentaries, and series)
- Video games (for consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, etc.)
Please place your CDs & DVDs in your own bag the size of a standard grocery bag or smaller.
🚫 Not Accepted:
✘ Plastic CD/DVD cases without discs
✘ Data discs, software, or burned discs
✘ VHS tapes, cassette tapes, or floppy disks
