For January, The ReCollective is taking Seasonal Decorations in your ReCo Pick Bag.
Give those used Holiday Decorations a new life!
What is all included? We accept decorations for all holidays! You can include ornaments, tabletop decorations, wall hangings, string lights, fixtures, etc.
What is NOT included? Broken or sharp items. For string lights only we can accept partially working or broken condition. Please label it with tape or another label as broken so that we can identify it. The broken string lights will be sent to an e-waste recycler.
Where is it going? We partner with The Scrap Exchange in Durham and other local community organizations to reuse and repurpose the decorations.
Maybe you bought too much food for your holiday gathering or just have a little extra? Clean out your pantry for a good cause!
The ReCollective is taking non-perishable food as a BONUS pick in January. Please put the food in your own bag (less than 30 gallons) and set it beside your waterproof bag. Do not put the food in your ReCo Pick bag.
What is all included? Non-perishable food such as cans, jars, pasta, soup, rice, cereal, tea, etc.
What is NOT included? Perishable food and/or anything that requires refrigeration. Expired food.
Where is it going? We partner with local charities to give the food to those in need.

Reminder: the main item goes in your ReCo Pick bag. The bonus item is ‘bring your own bag’. More information about each upcoming ReCo pick is distributed the month before the pick up.
