Friends of the Durham Library sells donated books, puzzles, and games at Books Among Friends, located at 3825 South Roxboro Street, Durham, NC 27713. Books Among Friends is open online 24/7, and for brief in-person sales on a quarterly basis.

- Donate books at the storefront on Tuesdays & Saturdays 12-3pm
- The next in-person sale at Books Among Friends will occur on Friday, May 19 7-9pm (Member night, with memberships available at the door), and Saturday, May 20, 11am to 4pm (open to the public).
The ReCollective is taking Plant Pots as a BONUS pick in May. Please stack your plant pots and set them beside your waterproof bag. Do not put the Plant Pots in your ReCo Pick bag.
What is included? All kinds of pots for plants, including plastic, ceramic, woven, wood, or metal. We will even take those cheap plastic ones you get from the garden center.
What is NOT included? Seeder starter trays or cells. Anything that is not a single pot, such as a 4 or 6-pack of seed starter cells or plants.
To ensure we have enough space in the van and that our partners can handle the volume of pots, please keep the total to, at most, two stacks that are two feet high.
Where is it going? We partner with local garden centers to help new plants GROW!
