Introducing the Almost Anything Bag, where you can place almost anything in one bag — Plastic Film/Bags, Textiles, Styrofoam, LED Light Bulbs, AA/AAA Alkaline Batteries, Small Electronics, Kitchenware, Wine Corks, Art & Office Supplies, Bottle Caps, Toys, Scrap Metal, CDs, Takeout Utensils, Clamshells, and more. Almost Anything, just ONE BAG…

The ReCollective Almost Anything Bag is a great way to spread your love of recycling and sustainability, engage your community, keep customers coming, and build brand loyalty.

How can your business or organization use The ReCollective Almost Anything Bag?

As a shop owner, you can sell the Almost Anything Bag in your shop. When your customers have a full bag, they bring it back to your shop, and ReCo picks it up from you!

As a local home service provider (delivery service, home cleaner, landscaper, etc.), you can distribute the Almost Anything Bag to your clients. When your clients have a full bag, you collect it during your regular service, and ReCo picks it up from you!

As a local employer, you can provide the Almost Anything Bag to your employees to promote sustainability. When your employees have a full bag, they bring it back to the office, and ReCo picks it up from you!

As a school, you can hand out the Almost Anything bag to students to teach students and families about Reuse and Recycling. When your students have full bags, they bring it back, and ReCo picks it up from you!

When will the Almost Anything Bag be available?

Hopefully later this year. We are waiting to determine the level of interest from the community before proceeding.

How much does the Almost Anything Bag cost?

We are still determining the pricing but expect it to be approximately $16 per bag. Schools will be offered a free/discounted rate.

ReCo must distribute the bags, collect them, sort the materials, aggregate them at the warehouse, distribute them to our partners, pay in some cases to have the materials properly recycled, clean the bags, and cover other costs of running the service (rent, insurance, software, customer service, etc.).

May I charge for the Almost Anything Bag (example at my shop)?

Yes, but we encourage you to price it at $20 or less for accessibility.

Are there materials that ReCo accepts through the normal home-pickup that won't be allowed in the Almost Anything Bag?

Yes, some materials will be not allowed for safety: Batteries that are not AA/AAA alkaline (such as 9V, lithium, larger-sized batteries, and button batteries) must be avoided. Light bulbs that are not LED (such as compact fluorescent/CFL and incandescent) must also be avoided.

The Almost Anything Bag is only for Hard-T0-Recycle Materials and not Organics.

How big is the Almost Anything Bag?

About 50% larger than our standard canvas bags!

How do I order the Almost Anything Bag?

When it is available, you can create a business account and order the Almost Anything Bag through the portal.

Can individuals order the Almost Anything Bag?

Not at this time. You may find it at local retailers and service providers in the future.

How do my customers and clients know what to put in the Almost Anything Bag?

Each bag is labeled with a QR code to obtain simple instructions on what to include.

How do I request a pickup of full Almost Anything Bags?

You may request this through the portal, and we will add the pickup to our existing routes. You may need to wait up to two weeks depending on when the next route goes through your community. We will charge a small fee for pickups of just a few bags; larger pickups will be free.
