Accepted Materials
Clean and dry plastic film of any color. Recycling types 2 (HDPE) and 4 (LDPE) if labeled:
- Grocery bags
- Amazon and other plastic film mailers
- Bubble wrap
- Product and case wrap
- Ziploc and sandwich bags – must be free of food residue
- Air pillows – must be flattened
- Bread bags
- Dry cleaning bags
- Produce bags
- Film should stretch

Can I really put all those materials in the same bag?
Yep! That’s why it’s the Almost Anything Bag. Our team in Durham, NC will sort the bag into waste streams to be recycled and reused locally.
How much does the Almost Anything Mailback Bag cost?
The price is $75 for 3 bags ($25 per bag) and $132 for 6 bags ($22 per bag). This price includes a prepaid shipping label.

Made with 50% post-consumer waste that has been diverted from landfills. 100% of the resin is recycled content. Bags received at The ReCollective warehouse are recycled through our LDPE waste stream.

Yes, please keep your bag to under 10lbs for easy handling!
How do I get a prepaid shipping label?
Just request one in your member dashboard! The cost of the bags includes a prepaid shipping label. We ask that you request the labels when you are ready since USPS shipping labels expire in 28 days.
