The Friends sell donated books\, puzzles\, and games at Books Among Friends\, 3825 South Roxboro Street\, Durham\, NC 27713. Books Among Friends is open online 24/7\, with quarterly in-person sales. \n \nThe ReCollective is taking 4 and 6-pack can holders as a bonus material in July. Place them in your own bag inside the black waterproof bag\, not the canvas ReCo Pick bag. \nWhat is included? 4 and 6-pack can holders and carriers with closed tops\, as shown in the image above. We do not accept those with open tops. \nWhere is it going? Homebucha in Durham will rescue these holders to distribute their kombucha. \nFounded in 2015 on a small farm in the Triangle\, Homebucha produces authentic kombucha inspired by the local food scene and community\, using traditional methods. Now available in over 50 retailers\, Homebucha focuses on sustainability\, producing on a small scale with minimal water use. They ethically source ingredients\, with many from local farms\, and process everything in-house.

What is NOT included? Please do not place loose beads\, gems\, clasps\, or anything sharp in your ReCo pick bag. Jewelry can be worn and/or broken but not unsalvageable. Where is it going? We partner with community organizations and The Scrap Exchange to give the jewelry a new life. Repurposing jewelry involves transforming existing pieces into entirely different creations. You can upcycle old pieces by combining them or altering them to make something completely new!

Broken tools\, anything sharp\, or anything that doesn’t fit in the ReCo bag. \n  \nThe ReCollective is taking Plant Pots as a BONUS pick in May. Please stack your plant pots and set them beside your waterproof bag. Do not put the Plant Pots in your ReCo Pick bag or black bag. \nWhat is included? What is included? All kinds of pots for plants\, including plastic\, ceramic\, woven\, wood\, or metal. We will even take those cheap plastic ones you get from the garden center. \nWhat is NOT included? Seed starter trays or cells.
